“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”

Aaron Siskind

Motherhood of 3 young sons occupies the majority of my time by choice, but professionally, my photography, my art, grounds me, reminds me who I am as a grown up, what I have to share of me outside my family walls.

My journey to motherhood and through it, has inspired the last decade of visuals as my body of work no doubt demonstrates. From pregnancy bumps, to birthing, to the tiny feet of a newborn, through to all those firsts as a family, my feeling is that this time is precious, it's both exquisite and fleeting, and... more than that it's heritage.

I live in the Northern Beaches area of Sydney, which is blessed with beautiful beaches, nature and a morning light engineered to delight artists. Light is my special sauce. My point of view is organic and natural, outing my relationship with light, energy and movement. I'm always looking for the small details which take an image from the factual to a story.

The closest I get to commercial photography, is what I do for brands and product shoots, but I have the same eye, looking for light, space and energy between things. My aesthetic is codified by the sense of natural and magic I try to capture as moments pass by my lens.
